Coherent is now introducing a range of fully automated wavelength extensions, expanding capabilities of you current ultrafast platform with gap-free tuning from UV to IR – wavelengths from 345 nm up to 3 µm only a mouse-click away. The graph below shows the wavelength capabilities of our fully automated SHG and OPO systems.

 

Automatically entering the Visible?

The OPO-Visible allows you to enter the previously hard-to-reach area between 505 and 700 nm. With hundreds of milliwats of power, the OPO enables a new range of ultrafast experiments like real Calcium uncaging experiments. Tuning of the OPO is done at a fixed input wavelength of the Chameleon, and the elegant design allows mulitple OPOs to be pumped by a single Chameleon.

Automatically expanding into UV?

The Automated SHG allows you to track the Chameleon wavelength and generate corresponding SHG wavelengths beween 345 and 510 nm – continuously tunable, allowing complete flexibility for UV time resolved experiments like FLIM with over 1000 mW of power

Because your experiments are cutting edge, you need a hassle-free laser system so you can focus on your application: Both the Chameleon lasers and the OPO can be operated either via a simple menu-driven interface on the power supply or by an external computer using the included Graphical User Interface. The SHG is symply tracking the Chameleon wavelength and optimizes its output automatically
